The CIEH is the UK’s leading awarding body for vocational qualifications in health and safety as well as accredited environmental protection and food safety qualifications. As an awarding body the CIEH provide vocational qualifications that are recognised and aligned to national standards. Only registered trainers and registered training centres can deliver CIEH courses.

IOSH (Institute of Safety and Health)

IOSH claim to be Europe's leading body for health and safety professionals. They are an independent and not-for-profit organisation, aiming to regulate and steer the profession, maintain standards and provide impartial, authoritative guidance on health and safety issues.

RSPH (The Royal Society for the Promotion of Health)

The Royal Society for the Promotion of Health is a charity. Since their foundation in 1876, their aim has been to promote continuous improvement in human health world-wide through education, communication and the encouragement of scientific research.
The Society does this by promoting health to its Members and other stakeholders through events and publications, to members of the public through its qualifications and to industry by certifying training packages.
